Account Manager – Proud FM - Toronto, ON

The Evanov Radio Group is looking for an ambitious and motivated Account Manager, responsible for performing tasks associated with the selling of commercial air time on 103.9 PROUD FM, its website and the Toronto cluster of stations as well as promotions, sponsorships and other specialized sales activities.

Reporting to the Sales Manager, your duties will include developing strategic customer account plans, as well as the development of incremental and new business opportunities to maintain and increase revenue. Work can involve the coordination of the activities of others, therefore making it essential to establish effective relationships with co-workers, clients and key stakeholders.

We are looking for a candidate with the following:

• Some sales experience and/or a completed radio program.
• Proficient in Microsoft applications - specifically Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Above average communication skills.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize and work independently.
• An adaptable team player.
• A Valid Drivers license.

General Sales Manager Required – Evanov Radio Group
The Evanov Radio Group is seeking a General Sales Manager to lead one or more of its stations within the company. The successful candidate must have a media sales background, possesses a strong work ethic, is self-motivated and has a winning attitude. This is a great opportunity for a performance-oriented individual to earn above average income and work in a fast-paced and fun environment.

Criteria:

• Proven success managing a sales department.
• Proven track record developing new business.
• Knowledge of industry related software including Airware, SalesPRO, Wide Orbit and ACT is an asset.
• Exceptional problem solving and negotiation skills.
• Creative and strategic thinker.
• Excellent communication, writing and presentation skills.
• Bilingual in English and French is an asset.

Responsibilities:

• Provide support, resources and direction to sales team.
• Motivate sales representatives to achieve set targets.
• Recruit individuals and provide professional development through select sales processes and philosophies.
• Develop sales packages and non-traditional revenue initiatives.
• Achieve overall targets.
